The prizes, (of wine or free entries) are offered to regular Monday players...i.e those that come at least once a month.
In order to give as many as possible the chance to win a prize, I have now formalised the criteria I use to determine the prize winners
Major prizes are a bottle of wine or 2 free entries...at the players choice (the wine has more monetary value! )
After winning a major prize, that player is then ineligible to win another for two calendar months
A minor prize is one free entry
The names of the prize winners are read out the following week, and indicated on the web page.
Records of the prize winners can be inspected any Monday morning, and players are expected to take their prizes themselves.
I will assume that every winner who is present the following week will take their prize that day. For those who miss that week, it would be helpful if you tell me as you collect it, in a subsequent Monday morning session. For the record, I believe that everybody has done this in the past...thank you.
Prizes are awarded to the top two players NS and EW........not necessarily a pair......who are eligible
